Edathana

Edathana is a named place within the 670644 school-address area of Thavinjal Grama Panchayat, Wayanad. Its directly documented landmark is Government Tribal Higher Secondary School Edathana. The official school register assigns it PIN 670644, notes establishment in 1978 and identifies higher secondary provision from 2014.

This anchors the locality without assuming a separate Edathana post office. In a structured Wayanad directory, retaining this name prevents nearby settlements from disappearing under the larger Thalappuzha or Mananthavady labels.

The evidence cited above associates the locality with the 670644 delivery area, but the postal code by itself is not sufficient to reconstruct individual property boundaries. A school, revenue service or veterinary facility located here should be searched by its own official name, not treated as a synonym for the settlement.

The area belongs to the broader Thavinjal local-government context. Since no authoritative house-level coordinate or travel-time source was found, this description makes neither assertion. Use the postal locality, applicable P.O. name and district together for clearer address guidance.
